La Cuna is located approximately 1 mile south of Troncones downtown, offering a noticeably quieter and more private setting than properties within walking distance of town. Guests typically enjoy the balance — a short drive to restaurants and shops, with the benefit of returning to a calm, uncrowded stretch of coastline. Having a car is convenient but not necessary. Local taxis are readily available for the occasional trip into town. Should you prefer a car, we can arrange for a rental at a discounted rate.
Can I bring my pet?
Even though we love pets, La Cuna is unable to accommodate them at this time in order to preserve the custom interiors, hand-woven textiles, and landscaped native plantings.
What kind of group or stay is La Cuna best suited for?
The residence is best suited for adults and mature guests, as the open stair design, pool, and direct beachfront setting may not be ideal for very young children.
La Cuna is ideal for couples, small groups, and curated retreats rather than large or high-turnover gatherings. It works particularly well for wellness stays, creative retreats, executive off-sites, or quiet family visits where privacy and design are prioritized.
